Teaching children to use tools safely and effectively is an integral part of the Forest School philosophy. The children have been using mallets to bang pegs into the ground developing their hand, eye-coordination, precision & physical development.
Leaf pounding on paper was a lot of fun especially when the children revealed the print. We talked about how the print is green from the chlorophyll.
