Autumn Brings the Pumpkin Patch

Dragonflies have had a brilliant time going on a pumpkin hunt around the garden. The children loved finding pumpkins of all sizes, weights and colours. We had lots to find! Some were huge and very heavy. In keeping with talking about the changing of the seasons, we talked about the different vegetables harvested this year and we cut up the pumpkin. The children were delighted when the top of the pumpkin was lifted to reveal "squidgy, splodgy, slimey and juicy" insides!
