Autumn Days and Sunny Skies
There was measuring, counting, scooping, chopping and mixing going on in the Hedgehogs Bakery last week with the children producing the most mouth watering carrot cakes. The children were delighted with their mixture as they decanted it into their chosen autumnal bakeware shapes - would they choose a squirrel shaped cake or maybe a leaf shaped carrot cake....?
Romar Sport continue to visit Kindergarten every Tuesday afternoon for fun football skills and the wonderful Clare from Storybears is always a welcome guest. The Ladybirds and Butterflies loved lying on their backs shaking bells while watching the magical star lights dance across the ceiling.
Dragonflies have been playing outside in our huge spill out garden. The children have also enjoyed sensory trays, rhymes, messy play and frequent visits to Forest School.
Kim from Torrington Dental Practice visited Kindergarten to talk to them about oral hygiene. The children asked lots of questions, enjoyed a story and some activities and each took home a free eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush.
