Forest School - Whittling Forest Folk & Cooking Pizza!

With Spring just around the corner, we have been celebrating the slow return of the light & warmth on the Earth by building campfires to cook on.

The Pizza making went down a treat and the children were busy prepping the ingredients; chopping, sprinkling and spooning on puree onto the bases and adding the delicious toppings.

Children have been finding sticks of different sizes and designing their very own forest folk. Some children even whittled faces onto their stick people and made fabric clothes for them.

We enjoyed stories and legends around the campfire and of course a few good songs including our very own Forest School song.
