Happy Chinese New Year

The children have been making some fantastic arts and crafts. The little Ladybirds have created a wonderful display with little red and gold coin bags and they have loved exploring the paint. Butterflies (our next age group up) have made a wonderful display of 'The Year of the OX.' The children made little Ox pictures using their hand print dipped in brown paint.

Meanwhile, our older children downstairs have loved the role play area turned into a restaurant. The children are learning about the value of money and it offers rich opportunities for mathematical language and understanding, turn taking, collaboration with others, social skills & communication.
