Happy Holi 2023

We would like to wish very warm 'Happy Holi' wishes to our families celebrating this week.

Kindergarten looked at lots of books, posters and resources to find out about Holi the Hindu festival of colour. It is a celebration of the changing of the season, Spring time, new life and love.

As a group, we worked together making colourful stitches on canvas. We also enjoyed transient art, making patterns with pebbles, shells, marbles and wooden blocks. The children chanted and clapped along singing 'Happy Holi'!

Children in Dragonflies had great fun splattering paint outside and using large brushes to create shapes and patterns on the ground.
