Kindergarten Get Creative!

What a creative bunch of Kindergarten children we have! We love construction and we see it everyday with loose parts, tyres, planks of wood, log stumps, Lego, Duplo, wooden blocks and so much more. The children are brilliant at designing and creating. They talk about their design and it's lovely to hear group work where the children show listening skills, compromise, problem solving and sharing.

Some of the children are really enjoying spending their time as builders and carpenters here at nursery. The even dressed the part and imitated the noise of the saw! We extended this play by providing the children with soft wood and sandpaper. The children eventually decided to turn it into a plank to walk on on their "pirate ship".
