National 'Winnie the Pooh Day'

We are celebrating National 'Winnie the Pooh Day' today! The adventures of Winnie the Pooh & friends, written by A. A Milne, has been entertaining children since it's first publication in 1926!

We have been reading stories, painting the characters from the book, painting paper trees just like the ones in the 'Hundred Acre Wood' to make a display in the baby room & Kindergarten were joined by our very own Winnie (our pet rabbit) at story time this morning!
