As part of the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend, we have been learning all about birds in our woodland sessions. The children have loved making binoculars, paintings, their own nests by making playdough and collecting twigs and also using bird ID sheets. We were fortunate to have a real bird's nest and cracked egg to show the children and for them to handle - (these were found and very much disused before we took them!)
Are you taking part in the bird watch? We have lot's of Starlings in our garden and a little Wren visits regularly.
