What a wonderful start to the new term....meeting new friends, finding out likes and dislikes, learning names, making our faces using collage materials, learning about Autumn and baking cupcakes with Emma in Hedgehogs Bakery.
We welcome back all our families returning after the summer holiday. We would like to say a HUGE welcome to all our new families. We look forward to getting to know you.
The theme at the start of this term is 'All About Me' and it's a wonderful opportunity to find out about the children. It's such an important time where friendships are forming, relationships are building, confidence is growing and children are settling into the new rooms and routine.
Children of all ages have been encouraged to think about what they enjoy doing, their favourite food, their family, pets and where they live. Our youngest children have been looking in the mirror and pointing to their nose, ears, eyes and mouth. We talk about the colour of our eyes, the length of our hair and we notice similarities and differences.
We love to hear about your child out of nursery too. If you have any photographs, achievements or news of any kind that you would like to share with us, please email us and we'll share it in your child's Learning Journey. office@stmichaels-nursery.org
