It's certainly been on the chilly side in recent weeks but we have embraced the season and taken full advantage of the beautiful large garden and winter woodland. The children have been learning about the season Winter and there is no better way than being fully immersed in the season, getting layered up and fully experiencing the icy, the cold, the frost and beautiful patterns it makes.

Some of the children made icicle adornments for the tree made with natural objects and twine.

The Ice Age took over the garden and the children had great fun playing with the dinosaurs in the icy small world area.

We stacked Winnie's hutch with plenty of warm, dry hay to make sure she was happy and snuggly.
